The first and most striking part of the trailer is its resemblance to the 1992 original. Even though the trailer doesn’t go too in-depth with the title, we can still glean plenty of interesting things. Earlier today at Summer Game Fest, Flashback 2, developed by Microids Studio Lyon, was announced with a short teaser trailer.
While we’ve had plenty of versions of the game, we’ve never had a proper sequel until now.Ī sequel to Flashback had been rumored since last year, but now we can confirm that it exists. There was also a re-imagining of the game in 2013 that shook up various elements of the formula. The original game was released in 1992, with a re-release coming out on Steam in 2018.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Flashback pop up in recent times. It looks like we’re getting Flashback 2, as announced earlier today.
